EMS Education Services
The “lifeblood” of Emergency Medical Services is the initial and ongoing emergency medical education.
In fact, you could say that EMS provider education is a matter of life and death. In our world, we find
ourselves in overturned vehicles, unfamiliar living rooms, or the middle of a grocery store. While most
of our environment is not familiar, we rely heavily on what is familiar… the tools we are given through
our education.
You may have just been “bitten by the EMS bug”, and are looking for the initial EMS course such as CPR
or Emergency Responder course. Or you may be looking for a certification course such as an Emergency Medical
Technician class Many EMS Providers are also looking for information on continuing education. Continuing
Education is not just a requirement of law, it is a way for providers to stay sharp and aware of the latest
treatment ideas. Our region of Pennsylvania is known for being a leader in EMS — strong education is a cornerstone
of this. When we are in the middle of a chaotic scene, it is our education we rely on and it is our education
that our patients rely on.
