First Capital Community Transport Partners (FCCTP), a newly merged EMS service in York, PA, seeks a goal-oriented Executive Director to lead the organization. FCCTP is comprised of three well-respected EMS services with long histories of providing high-quality BLS and ALS ambulance services as separate entities. These organizations will officially merge in January 2022 and operate as First Capital EMS.
This new organization will provide 911 ambulance services to approximately 75,000 residents in the suburban York area with an annual volume of approximately 12,000 calls. FCCTP employs 120 providers consisting of both full and part-time ALS providers and EMTs. Services are provided from five different stations in our response area. In addition, FCCTP provides non-emergency ground transport services for a regional health care system under a contractual agreement.
The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the administration, programs, and strategic planning for FCCTP. The ideal candidate must be an innovative thinker with solid organizational, financial and communication skills and the desire to develop FCCTP into a “world class” EMS organization.
We seek an individual with a bachelor’s degree and at least five years’ leadership experience in emergency medical service administration, healthcare administration, or a related field. We seek an individual who can inspire our staff, our Board, and our community partners.
