The PA EMS Registry has been fixed. ALS providers (AEMT and higher) expiring on 12/31/2019, are now able to reregister their certification. Once the reregistration is submitted, the EMS Registry system will automatically update their expiration date to 12/31/2021. Our office will print the certification materials and mail to the EMS provider’s address on file.
Any EMS provider who completed the reregistration this morning are good to go. The system corrected their expiration date. Diana is printing their certification materials and will be mailing them.
We encourage providers expiring on 12/31/2019 to submit the reregistration application to renew their EMS certification.
The patient transfer of care form is required by the EMS Act and Rules and Regulations. The Department requires the primary care provider to provide a report with the receiving facility at the time of the patient's transfer of care. The report must be given verbally and in a written format. This form provides the minimum data elements required to be provided at the time of the patient's transfer of care.
